Yes, it's been an extremely long time since my last blog. I haven't had a lot of time or internet access for that matter for about 6+ months now...

It started out as a two week trip to Cape Cod to get started building the condos. Well things have not gone as planned, slow, incompetent people have happened since then. We've ended up having to oversee the entire project so we've been living out of two motel rooms with three dogs since Easter! I ended up working here for the summer, Marc's cooked the dinners for the bus group tours every other week, I mostly work the front office, but at least this time I'm not the one in charge.. Don't have to listen to all the bitchy people... as much...
I did get to see my mom & brothers last month. They came down for a few days to visit. My brothers gave my manager a hard time, had to make them apologize! little shits... :)

I've been without a laptop for a while now, mine smoked it's brains. twice...
I went to plug it in one day and heard a crackling noise, then smelt the nice smell of carbon. This and the cool smoking effect gave me a good clue that something bad was happening...
I popped it apart, found that the plug connector was fried so I ordered a new one, soldered it onto the board, it ran again for about 3 seconds and did the same thing. So...


So about a week after that happened, my web server I had running back home in Florida decided to crap it's brains out. After hearing everyones screams, I had to have it over nighted to me... Robyn was there for me, but my wonderfull Sprint cell phone never rang so I missed her (NO I'm not mad at you hon).
I did get it a couple days later, one of my neighbors was able to send it to me.
Once I received it, it took a couple of days uploading all of my websites to a new hosting provider... All I really have to work with for internet access right now is a dial-up speed usb connection through my cell... very aggravating!!
At least now I have a clunky desktop computer which takes up most of my "motel room desk" to do some of my work with.. The Windows ME box in the front office just doesn't cut it very well... even in between its crashes...

We're hoping to be out of here by the end of October. I really hope so, it's very cramped in here and I miss my pool. I don't like swimming in people soup so much. We were supposed to have been able to move into one of the new condos by now, but the builders went so slow, we're just now getting siding on the first two units... Still no inside walls, plumbing, electrical, etc... We'll be back home by the time it's done now.

oh.. there goes my cell phone battery, now this post sits here, unpublished, till it's charged again...

Gonna go to bed now, need to be up at 7:00 to collect old-people luggage from rooms and put on a bus, then I get a few hours off before I go in for closing shift...
